Parents and Students are required to read and agree to the Lancer Parent Organization event policies and sign the external, online Amp Up Participation Wavier to attend the Class of 2027 Senior Celebration lock-in.

Please review the information below before the event date so you are familiar with the expectations, logistics, and procedures for the Lafayette Lancer Parent Organization Senior Celebration Lock-In.

Senior Celebration is a drug-free, tobacco-free, and alcohol-free event featuring laser tag, arcade games, go-karts, axe throwing, an elevated ropes course, a hypnotist, a caricature artist, a fortune teller, henna tattoo artists, a silent disco, casino games, food, nonalcoholic beverages, and more!

Senior Celebration is a private, closed event and is not open to the public. Attendance is limited to Lafayette High School Class of 2027 graduates, approved adult volunteers, hired event personnel, and authorized LPO representatives. Parents and guardians who are not scheduled volunteers may enter only if checking out their student early or when requested by event staff. Guests, dates, siblings, and students who are not members of the Lafayette High School graduating class of 2027 are not permitted.

Check-in begins at 11:00 p.m. on the night of the Lafayette High School graduation ceremony. The event ends promptly at 4:00 a.m. the following morning.

Before the Event

Complete the Amp Up Participation Waiver.
Make sure the parent or guardian contact information provided during ticket purchase is current and accurate. A parent or guardian must remain available by phone throughout the event.
Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the event. If you student does not have their own transportation, please plan for your student to be picked up promptly at 4:00 a.m.
Contact the Senior Class Leads before the event regarding medications, food allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or accommodations that may require special attention.

Rules and Expectations

Ticket purchase is required.
Students must arrive before midnight. Students who are not present by midnight will not be permitted to enter or participate.
If a student with a confirmed reservation has not arrived by midnight, their parent or guardian will be notified by phone call and/or text.
Students must present a photo ID at check-in. A driver’s license or an LHS student ID will be accepted.
Shoes and socks are required. Please remind your student to dress appropriately for activities such as the elevated ropes course and other outdoor activities.
Please remind your student to treat this event as they would a school sporting event. All school event rules apply. No beverage containers, alcohol, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, backpacks, blankets, or bags are permitted.
Small clear wristlets and belt bags are permitted but will be searched and securely stored in the bag room. Students may access their belongings at any time under adult supervision.
Students must remain at the event until it ends unless a parent or guardian has arranged in advance to check them out early. Approval for early dismissal is limited and only allowed under certain circumstances. The parent or guardian must park, enter the building, and check the student out in person. Students will not be allowed to leave the building before the schedule events end time.
Students that leave the event will not be allowed to reenter.
Dismissal order is based on ticket purchase order. Students whose tickets were purchased first will be dismissed first.
If a student shows signs of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, their parent or guardian will be contacted and required to pick them up immediately. A breathalyzer test may be administered. Hired security personnel will be onsite throughout the event.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Specifically, no refunds will be issued if a student can no longer attend the event, does not show up for the event or is dismissed from the event for any reason.

Acknowledgment

Completion of the ticket purchase serves as acknowledgment that you have reviewed the expectations and participation rules for the Lafayette Lancer Parent Organization Senior Celebration Lock-In and discussed them with your senior student.

By allowing your student to attend, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and discussed this information with your senior student.

Your students’ attendance at the Lafayette High School Parent Organization hosted Senior Celebration event confirms that you and your student understand these expectations and that you and your student agree to comply with all rules outlined above.
